Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono and the rest of the Capcom development team have been working on a new crossover fighting game entitled Street Fighter X Tekken. As of right now, it will be coming soon for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, and Playstation Vita sometime next year... SFXT incorporates tag-team fighting of course, and by looking at trailers, it's 2-on-2 intense fighting action! Now the idea friggin hit my mind like a meteor when it was first announced... Wow! Two righteous franchises going head to head in the same game is epicness! But there is only two real negatives I have with this game: the possibility of balance issues, and of course, the art style (AGAIN). The balancing problems might come in effect by looking into the mechanics and (maybe) the damage output/input phases... Boo? Secondly, the art style that was used in Street Fighter IV and its expansion releases is giving me major headache problems. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm really hoping to see what Namco has up their sleeve... And you're probably saying things like, "Graphics don't matter!", and to be honest, you're absolutely right, and I'm gonna get a lot of shit for pointing this out, but the graphics and overall art style for Street Fighter IV just doesn't look right. But then again, Capcom's trying to capture the original feel all over again. I'm also hoping to see more character reveals (Capcom better know some other veteran Tekken characters, besides Kazuya Mishima or Nina Williams, or I'm not watching anymore!) and better development for this game! Overall, it looks okay... This is Ouroburos signin' out!
