Undertale Volume II: The Story of the Seven Souls is an Undertale fan sequel. It features the story after ending the True Pacifist route.

Introduction[]

After the True Pacifist run has been completed, Frisk and his friends live in a small village on the Surface. They live there peacefully, until one day...

The whole Dreemurr family is now kind and peaceful, but one forgotten child has risen again. The name of that child is Chara.

Frisk decides to set out for the nearby forest, because Monster Kid lost his yo-yo. This toy will be later used as a weapon (subtle EarthBound reference). But in the forest, he encounters a child with a knife. The child, Chara, attacks him, but Sans quickly ends the fight. Frisk asks Sans how he knew he was in trouble. Sans answered he knew it through DETERMINATION.

After that, Toriel says she needs to explain something to Frisk. She explains about the coffins he has seen in Asgore's castle. The coffins contained the souls of the other fallen children. To prevent everything from happening again. The hole in Mt. Ebott must be sealed forever using the power of seven human SOULs.

Frisk decides to explore the Surface, searching for Mt. Ebott...

Gameplay[]

Undertale Volume II will have significant changes, but a lot of things will remain from Undertale (The bullet hell battles, ACT & MERCY system, multiple routes). The most significant change is adding side quests. Players will now be able to complete quests that mostly don't influence the story for extra gold and items.

The world of Undertale Volume II will be bigger than the Underground. It will contain six initial regions: The Forest, The City of Light, Dusty Desert, Atlantis, Cloud Castle and the North Pole. The boss region will be Mt. Ebott.

Save points will still be Determination Stars.

Different Routes[]

Here are the different game routes and their requirements:

Friend among Monsters and Humans: Complete all side quests, spare everyone, befriend everyone

Total change of mind: Reach level 49, kill all bosses.
