Well, I was surfing around and saw that Crystal Dynamics is [http:// actually looking to hire a Creative Writer for the recently-announced Avengers project!] With this revelation, I've had an epiphany: what if it was me in the writer's room at Crystal Dynamics, helping craft the game's story?
I've been brainstorming for the past couple of days, and I believe I've come up with an amazing concept for the Avengers Project that's very fan-servicey and open-world, even going as far as to lay the founation for future Marvel games from Square-Enix, including their planned Guardians of the Galaxy game from Eidos Montreal.
So yes, I'm going to be submitting my very own Avengers Project idea to you in the hopes that I'll be able to snag the Creative Writer job at CD (you read that right!). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for one of your fellow GI writers to actually be able to live the dream job, working for a subsidary of a big-name publisher like Square-Enix. I've submitted full story treatments for multiple AAA games (Devil May Cry 5, a Resident Evil spin-off game, a hypothetical Dino Crisis reboot, etc.) on this site alone, highlighting the entire game's plot from beginning to end, to critial acclaim and doing so on my own volition without a creative team to help me, and I believe this experience will go a long way in prepping me for the dream job.
It also helps that I have more Marvel game material in the tip of my fingers, having already submitted my own idea for a game based on Marvel's Midnight Sons (who wouldn't want a Legacy of Kain-styled Midnight Sons game?).
