The legend of Zelda: Treasured Sword (known as Zelda no Densetsu: Otakara no Tsurugi ゼルダの伝説 -お宝の剣-) it's a fighting game for Nintendo Switch and arcade developed by Nintendo and Bandai Namco.

It's a spin off of The Legend of Zelda games made with Soulcalibur engine and a custom Arcade board based on Nintendo Switch.

Treasured Sword will be released in 2019

Plot[]

The game takes place in the Adult Link era, after a long period of peace, Great Sages discover a sword left by the Goddesses of Hyrule, this sword can only be wielded by the chosen warrior of Hyrule. After this Ganondorf is resurrected looking for this sword to conquer Hyrule once and for all time. It's Link's duty to stop him before it's too late.

Gameplay[]

The gameplay is based on Soulcalibur series, with different characters wielding different weapons but using different characters from different Zelda games from Hyrule history

Treasured sword contains Story mode, Arcade mode, Versus mode, Training mode, Mission mode, Online mode and shop

Differences between Arcade and Switch version[]

While both versions are virtually the same, Arcade version has all characters unlocked from start

Switch Version has amiibo support to unlock extra content (Music,Artwork,Characters...)

Arcade Version has 2 colors per character while Switch version has 4

Switch Version allows motion controls

Switch Version has an exclusive classic soundtrack based on classic Zelda games music rather than modern arrangements
