Psychic Force 2016 Annihilation is an upgrade edition of Psychic Force 2016 Resurrection the game is released on PS VITA and the New 3DS.

 Modes

• Arcade Mode - the player fights through 14 stages, the first ten are against random opponents, the 11th is against Jason, the 12th is against Jones, the 13th is against Alicia and the 14th is against Observer.
• Story Mode - the order of the chapters:

Mini Games

• Puzzle Force - similar to Psychic Force Puzzle Taisen, the characters are: Burn, Keith, Emilio, Wendy, Setsuna, Wong, Carlo, Brad, Patty, Sakura, Agard, Pablo, Might(Unlockable) and Gates(Unlockable).
• Space Force - a Racing Mini Game, the characters are: the characters are: Burn, Keith, Might, Wong, Patty, Wendy, Setsuna, Carlo, Gates, Genshin, Agard and Sakura.
• Psychic Force 2D - similar to other games in the series but in 2D, the characters are: Burn, Keith, Emilio, Wendy, Chris, Brad, Gates, Genma, Jason(Secret Character) and Wong(Boss).
• Psychic Force Full-Motion-Video Adventure - a Full-Motion-Video game, there is the Fire Campaign where you can play as Burn and you can later unlock the Ice Campaign where you can play as Keith.

Gameplay

The gameplay is similar to Psychic Force 2016 Resurrection.

Characters

• Burn Griffiths - after stopping Agard from taking over the world he continued his peace plans between humans and psychicers, when he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation he has entered the tournament to save his family and friends and other psychicers alike.
• Keith Evans - even with his quadruple assistance in the previous tournament, Agard's tools weren't enough to activate O, so when Keith heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he decided to enter the tournament to steal tools from him and kill him for the murders and experiments he have done on psychicers.
• Richard Wong - after regaining control over the Army Organization, Wong tried to get rid of Setsuna and his supporters until he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he decided to enter the tournament to make sure no one will take over the world except him, avenge his wife ans son and kill Segeant Jones for the murders and experiments he have done on psychicers.
• Wendy Ryans - after finding her sister in the previous tournament she tries to reason her to give up the idea of a psychicer only utopia but in vain, when she heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation she enters the tournament to avenge her parents and fight her sister.
• Emilio Michaelov - after stopping Agard from taking over the world he finally lived in peace until he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he have decided to enter the tournament to make Sergeant jones pay for killing psychicers and to save his friends and psychicers alike.
• Brad Kilsten - after finding out Agard's tools weren't enough to activate O, Brad have decided to spy on Anti-Norah and the Army Organization, one day he found out bout Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation and have decided to enter the tournament to avenge his parents.
• Shiori - after encountering Patty in the previous tournament Shiori continued to learn magic but thought that there can be peace between humans and psychicers, when she heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation she enters the tournament to stop his plans of world domination.
• Patty Myers - after helping the Freedom Warriors to defeat Agard her life went back to normal until she heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation, she decided to enter the tournament.
• Carlo Belfron - after finding out Agard's tools weren't enough to activate O, Carlo have decided if to give up the idea of a psychicer idea or not, one day he found out about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation he have decided to enter the tournament and avenge his grandparents.
• Setsuna - after failing to take over the Army Organization, Setsuna have decided if to give up the plans, when he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he have decided to enter the tournament to get rid of Wong and avenge his brother.
• Gudeath - after Setsuna failed to take over the Army Organization, Gudeath have decided if to give up the plans, when he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he have decided to enter the tournament to get rid of Wong and avenge his mother.
• Adeline Aries - after finding out that Agard is the one who killed her father, Adeline continued on her college work, when she heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation she have entered the tournament to make him pay for the crimes he have done on innocent psychicers.
• Pablo Audino - after buying a cure to heal his mother, Pablo continued on his job as a software engineer, when he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation he have entered the tournament to stop him from his plans of world domination.
• Sakura Hattori - after defeating Agard she has started to date Ken, however thing went wrong when both have been caught in an attack of Sergeant Jones, after recovering she have entered the tournament to stop Ken from resurrecting O.
• Frederick Schmidt - after Setsuna failed to take over the Army Organization, Frederick have decided if to give up the plans, when he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he have decided to enter the tournament to get rid of Wong and avenge his family.
• Archie Agard - after his humiliating defeat by the hands of Sakura he was imprisoned by Wong who regained his control of the organization, when he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation he enters the tournament to claim his freedom, take control of the organization, avenge his wife, son and daughter, and make Sergeant Jones pay for the murders and experiments he has done on psychicers.
• Adam Borja(age:31, element:Ice) - a norwegian psychicer and a member of the Army Organization, unlike Gudeath and Frederick who seek to crown Setsuna as a leader, Adam is loyal to Wong and enters the tournament to kill Sergeant Jones who killed his twin sister.
• Amrita Aggarwal(age:23, element:Lightning) - an indian psychicer who isn't a part of any of the organizations(Anti-Norah, Neo-Norah, Army Organization),she enters the tournament to rescue her boyfriend who was kidnapped by Sergeant Jones.
• Robert Harrison(age:22, element:Water) - an american psychicer, a member of Anti-Norah and a friend of Burn and Keith, he enters the tournament to rescue his mother from Sergeant Jones.
• Maria Rodriguez(age:27, element:Earth) - a spanish psychicer whose father was murdered by Segeant Jones and a member of Neo-Norah, she enters the tournament to have her revenge.
• Chris Ryans - after encountering her sister in the previous tournament she tries to convience her to support the idea of a psychicer only utopia but in vain, when she heard about Segeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation she enters the tournament to avenge her parents and fight her sister.
• Rokudo Genma - after encountering Gates in the previous tournament Genma have advised him to life a normal life and forget killing all psychicers, when he heard about Sergeant Jones nad the Anti-Psychicer Federation he enters the tournament to stop his plans and to convience Gates that he can make a spell that will make all psychicers powerless.
• Gates Oltsman - after failing to destroy O in the last tournament, Gates tried to live a normal life, when he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation he have decided to stop him since he has tools that can allow Keith to resurrect O and the fact that Gates thinks that Jones is an egomaniac.
• Might - after he lost to Sakura he decided to help her taking down Agard for good his life went back to normal until he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he decided to enter the tournament.
• Genshin Kenjoh - after stopping Agards plan Genshin have continued to teach Shiori magic,when he got a message from Sergeant Jones that he will kill all psychicers even if they will be powerless Genshin have decided to enter the tournament to stop Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation.
• Regina Belfron - after finding out Agard's tools weren't enough to resurrect O, Regina have decided if to give up the idea of a psychicer idea or not, one day she found out about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation she have decided to enter the tournament and avenge her grandparents.
• Akashinga Maraire - after finding his sister he decided to merge his Freedom Warriors Group within Anti-Norah, when he heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation he enters the tournament to stop his plans of world domination.
• Ken Hayashi - after helpin Sakura to defeat Agard, Ken started dating her, however thing went wrong when both have been caught in an attack of Sergeant Jones, after recovering he have volunteered in stealing tools from Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation to resurrect O and he enters the tournament.
• Lilith Alderson - after her humiliating defeat by the hands of Sakura she was imprisoned by Wong who regained his control of the organization, when she heard about Sergeant Jones and the Anti-Psychicer Federation she enters the tournament to claim her freedom and to assist Agard in taking control over the organization.
• James Richards(age:28, element:Swords and Knives)- an Australian human being and a member of the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he blindly follows Sergeant Jones.
• Lucia Oliver(age:24, element:Yoyos) - a British human being and a member of the Anti-Psychicer Federation, she blindly follows Sergeant Jones.
• Pre-experiment Alicia(age:18, element:Poison) - Alicia Castillo before she was recently kidnapped by Sergeant Jones and used as a test subject for his experiments.

Unlockable Bosses

• Jason Grey(age:20, element:Demon)1st Sub-Boss- an american psychicer who was thought to be killed by Gates in 2010 but he managed to survive and now he seeks to kill Sergeant Jones fand to settle the score with Emilio over Wendy from 6 years ago.
• Sergeant Henry Jones(age:42, element:Weaponry)2nd Sub-Boss - an american human being, a retired general in the american army and the founder of the Anti-Psychicer Federation, he hates psychicers because he sees them as a obstacle in the evolution of human kind.
• Alicia Castillo(age:18, element:Poison)3rd Sub-Boss - a peruvian psychicer who was recently kidnapped by Sergeant Jones and used as a test subject for his experiments, she enters the tournament as a slave for Sergeant Jones.
• Observer(age:none, element:Robot)Final Boss - 4 years ago, Keith reprogrammed Gates to test a robotic mind he created(through a nano-chip) on him. Gates broke free, however Keith's test for the mind program was complete so he removed the chip from Gate and transferred to an android he created(called Observer), in order to infect the entire human race with psychic powers, but the android couldn't be activated properly so 3 years later Keith stole Agard's tools but they weren't enough to activate Observer so 1 year after that Keith stole Jones's tools which were later combined with Agard's tools and thanks to that Observer could be finally activated. will the world stay the same?

• Because the game is an upgrade rather than a sequel, none of the characters that return from the previous game get a new attire.

The PlayStation Vita port of Psychic Force 2016 Annihilation met with mixed to postive reviews. IGN, GamSpot, Giant Bomb, Polygon, Famitsu, Eurogamer, Game Informer and Edge rated the game a 6/10.

The Nintendo New 3DS port of Psychic Force 2016 Annihilation met with mixed to negative reviews. IGN, GamSpot, Giant Bomb, Polygon, Famitsu, Eurogamer, Game Informer and Edge rated the game a 4/10.

The game kept the OVA as a free DLC.

Because of fan disappointment, Taito Announced Psychic Force Next Generation .
