The PlayBox is a video game console developed, manufactured, and marketed by Fallen Corporation. It was announced at GothCon 2002 on September 2, 2002 (the first day of GothCon '02) under the codename Solaris. It was released in North America on March 29, 2003, Japan on March 30, 2003, and Asia and Europe on April 2, 2003.

The PlayBox reads HS-DVDs, Fallen's proprietary disc format, along with many other standards. It has the ability to play games from both handheld and video game consoles of the current and past generations, has an 8 terabyte hard drive, and supports 2160p resolution and 10.2 surround sound.

Development began on the PlayBox on August 1, 2002, and was announced at the first day of GothCon '02 on September 2, 2002. The console was released on March 29, 2003 in North America, March 30 in Japan, and April 2 in the rest of the world.
