Knuckles' Rescue Mission (ナックル"chaotix：レスキューミッションNakkuru" chaotix: Resukyūmisshon, lit. Knuckles' Chaotix: Rescue Mission for Japan) is another of Knuckles' own game for PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360, GigaCom (Japan only), and Nintendo 3DS.
Story[]
Note: The storyline is VERY similar to Mega Man X: Command Mission.
Vector has spotted that a young man (boy, actually) named Ray the Flying Squirrel, who went missing for years since "that time" (talking about SegaSonic the Hedgehog, an arcade game) at Storm Ruins, you then go there to investigate.
Knuckles, Espio, and a mysterious new recruit named Jack the Wolf, step into an unknown laboratory. A pillar explodes and separates Knuckles from Espio and Jack. They then promised each other to meet upstairs. And that's when the game begins.
Gameplay[]
It takes on the tweaked Sonic Chronicles RPG-style Battle gameplay. It also takes on MMX: Command Mission's Field's gameplay, but includes Item Boxes instead of E-Crystals (or whatever they were called).
