Barry the Manatee's Fishtacular Adventure, or BMFA, is a 2018 2D side-scrolling adventure game for the Xbox One and PC. It is being made by EB Industries.
Gameplay[]
BMFA is a sidescrolling shoot-em-up up game with randomly generated levels. Barry, the main character, is looking for fish to be friends with, and will go to any means to find them. Barry can pick up guns, melee weapons, powerups, and algae (health). Each level, while still following the main storyline, is randomly generated with different maps and enemies. The game retains a comedic feel while still implementing shoot-em-up features in a cute 2D environment.
Story[]
Barry, the main character, is a manatee with overall good intentions, that wants to make some friends. To solve his dilemma, Barry seeks out fish, who are being held captive by crabs, eels, octopi, and various other sea animals. Barry goes to any means to find his friends, including killing other animals.
