Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi Collection (known in Japan as Dragon Ball Kai: Sparking! HD ドラゴンボール改:スパーク!HD Doragonbōru aratame: Supāku! HD) is a Classics HD remake collection of the most beloved series ever!

List of Titles

  • Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking!)
  • Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Neo)
  • Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! METEOR)

Secret Game Demos

  • Dragon Ball Z: Budokai (Dragon Ball Z) - Unlocked by entering BUDOKAI in Game Code mode.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 (Dragon Ball Z 2) - Unlocked by entering BUDOKAI2 in Game Code mode.

Original & HD Differs

  • The graphics and quality of BT1 and BT2 are fixed.
  • The first Tenkaichi game now features a BGM Test.
  • The North American version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3's theme song is an instrumental version of "Super Survivor" by Hironobu Kageyama... In the Budokai Tenkaichi Collection version, you can switch between the instrumental and original themes as an option.

The Hybrid DVD

It is a Hybrid DVD since it also contains content playable on DVD Players, it's similar to a Bonus Disc since it contains Trailers, Interviews, Bandai & Namco (partnership commentaries), Deleted Features (counterpart of Deleted Scenes, which is also available content), and more! There is a mode called Game Code where you put in the codes (as seen as above) to unlock new game demos to play, basically a Budokai series.

  • Rated as follows: Teen (ESRB), A (CERO), 12+ (PEGI)
